Mercy International Women’s Outreach Foundation was founded in 2019 by Mrs. Cherise Forbes. Raised in the beautiful twin-island republic of Trinidad & Tobago, Cherise always had two passions, doing business and helping women. After giving her life to Christ in 2006, she began to understand that the call on her life was for women’s ministry and is determined to fulfill her purpose in this regard.

In obedience to God, Cherise established Mercy IWOF, to execute the mandate God has given her to touch and transform the lives of women worldwide with His love.

With scars from her own personal battles, she is committed to helping women through the foundation, to understand what the love of God can do, mind, body and spirit and to live purpose-filled lives.

Under the covering of Apostle Wayne Andrews, her spiritual father, she, together with her team, are on a mission to touch and transform the lives of women around the world.

Our Mission

To embrace each woman we encounter and assist with enabling her complete rehabilitation i.e. emotionally, physically and spiritually. To this end we open our doors to clients with various experiences including domestic violence, rape, failed suicide attempts, drug abuse and others.

Operating within the shores of Trinidad in the twin island republic of Trinidad & Tobago, this institution facilitates a series of life changing programs that help restore broken lives. We believe that hope starts at home within our communities and country and extends to the world. We partner with churches of the Christian community, government agencies, ministries, individuals and private sector businesses.

Statement of Faith

At MIWOF we believe:

The Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God (2Tim 3:16-17, 20-21)
There is one God, eternally existing in the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19. John 14:26, 15:26, 2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 Peter 1:2)
That Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matt 1:18, 25, Luke 1:34-35, John 3:16
In the crucifixion, death and bodily resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus into heaven where He presently sits on the right hand of the Father as an Intercessor (Matthew 27:35, Mark 15:24, Luke 23:33, Acts 3:14-15, Matthew 28:5-6, Luke 24:1-8)
Regeneration and conversion through faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity. (Acts 4:12, Romans 5:18, Romans 10:9, 2Timothy 3:15, 1John 5:1)
The Gospel includes the holiness of heart and life, healing of the body and a definite personal experience with the Holy Spirit, where the Gifts of the Spirit become active in the life of the believer. (Luke 1:74-75, 2Corinthians 7:1, Hebrew 12:14, 2Peter3:11, Acts 2:4, Acts 4:31, Ephesians 4:1-8, 1Cor 12:1-11)

In the millennial second coming of Jesus. Firstly, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints with him in the air. Secondly, to reign on the earth a thousand years. (1Thessolians 4:13-18, 1Corinthians 15:50-58, Revelation 20:1-6)
In the bodily resurrection of believers at the end of the time ,the just unto eternal life, and the unjust unto eternal damnation (Revelation 20:11-15, Matthew 25:31-32)
In the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 4:1-6, Philippians 1:27, Romans 12:4-5, 1Corinthians 12:12-13)
